Supporting Elders & Dementia Care in Northern Ghana
You are not alone
Understanding dementia together
Every elder deserves dignity

“Many elderly individuals are living with confusion, neglect, and loneliness. Many caregivers are overwhelmed, unsupported, and unsure where to turn. Some who wander due to dementia are even wrongly accused of witchcraft.”

— We are here to support you — and stand with you every step of the way.

Support Caregivers

Family caregivers are the unsung heroes of elderly care. We provide training, emotional support, respite programs, and peer networks to help caregivers sustain their vital role — without burning out. From counselling sessions to practical workshops, we walk alongside families every step of the way.

Raise Dementia Awareness

Dementia is widely misunderstood across Ghana — often attributed to witchcraft or old age. Through community education sessions, radio campaigns, and school outreach, we're changing the narrative. We equip communities with knowledge to recognize early signs, provide compassionate care, and fight stigma.

Direct Elder Support

Many older persons in our communities live alone, without access to basic necessities. We provide home visits, health screenings, nutritional support, and companionship to elders who need it most — restoring dignity and ensuring no one ages in silence or neglect.

Community Engagement

Sustainable change starts with community ownership. We organize intergenerational dialogues, advocacy campaigns, and volunteer mobilization to build communities where older persons are valued, respected, and actively included in social and civic life.
